Earlier this month, Maluma returned to the music scene with Loco x Volver, his seventh studio album and his first release in three years. Reflecting on the project, the artist shared with Apple Music, "This album was therapy for me," emphasizing a personal journey of reconnection with his inner child. Loco x Volver showcases Maluma's artistry by blending his trademark Latin pop sound with elements from traditional regional genres. The album also features collaborations with notable figures in Latin music, including Arcángel, Grupo Frontera, Justin Quiles, Lenny Tavárez, Ryan Castro, Kany García, Beéle, NG, and Luny Tunes.
Maluma last graced the American Music Awards in 2020, a memorable occasion when he joined forces with Jennifer Lopez to perform their duet "Pa' Ti + Lonely," marking his debut at the prestigious awards show.
